Jenny Williams established Geek Mom with Natania Barron, Corrina Lawson and Kathy Ceceri. She enjoys the freedom that working from home gives her. Jenny home schools her children, which has given her the freedom to take a 40 day trip around the country with her children visiting museums, national battlefields and a tour of NASA. Jenny believes spending time with children by talking with them, and sharing with your and their interests She believes this is essential so your children will remember you taking an interest in them and spending time with them in a positive way.
Jenny encourages bloggers not to be discouraged when they first start. “It takes a while to get to a critical mass before the blog can take a life of it’s own.” Consistent quality content is recommended, as people go through your catalogue once they find you. Finally, connecting your blog via social media and making comments on other similar blogs can help build your audience.
