Kara Subritzky

Kara Subritzky saw a problem that faced her child and in true entrepreneurial fashion she created a product that fixed it.

“Having a little bit of sewing background, I just made it up as I went along to be honest.  Developing the mitten Sleeve and I put it on my boy and without sounding corny, it changed my life.”  Kara made such a difference in her son’s life, it’s not surprising that Kara would like to be remembered for being a great Mum.

Kara keeps it real with her advice about business.  “It is difficult and it can be stressful and you’re working long hours.”  She often refers to the quote by Pierre Wildman “If it was easy, everyone would be doing it.”

  3. Do your homework.
  4. Be realistic in how much you spend.

Kara is based in Auckland and will be at The Baby Show.

“It should be more a full time hobby rather than a job.”
